We are often involved in the management of appeals and complaints, where we can review cases and assist Underwriters and Assessors to ensure that fair and balanced opinions are agreed. We also provide guidance in the preparation of correspondence to complainants, their treating Clinicians and, when required, the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Our training service
Our Consultants are accomplished trainers, and we provide the most up-to-date and relevant material, covering all medical and surgical topics. Our training is tailored to the needs of Underwriters and Assessors, is evidence-based, and regularly updated. Our goal is to enhance confidence, insight and independence. Training sessions, whether delivered face to face or remotely, are presented in an engaging manner and incorporate relevant case discussions.
We have extensive experience in providing training for Insurers, and recently have presented topics such as “Long COVID”, “Functional Neurological Disorders”, and “Fractures, Dislocations & Ruptures”. We routinely ask for evaluation of our training, with formal feedback to help ensure we maintain the highest quality.
